Other than how ridiculously cool they look out in the yard, there are many reasons to loe fire pits.

Living in the bush, and having a communal and smaller sized fire pit is not only great for hosting get togethers but also to help with clean up in the immediate vicinity to your home. We have huge trees around here and some of the dry limbs fall down when the wind sets in, or a rambunctious cockatoo decides to jump all over it!
For that reason alone, it is really useful to have a central location to be able to dump the twigs and dried, fallen branches for burning off.
