DIY & Builds

One of the reasons we wanted to move to the country was to simplify our lives. Of course, it hasn’t been as easy as changing our location, but over the years we have done many things to keep life a little simpler. As the years progress, as we get a bit older, and as the world around us changes much faster than we can keep up, living simply and mindfully has become even more important. We live simply by going back to basics – we bake, cook, create, make, craft and produce whatever we can. We repurpose and recycle anything and everything. Got an empty cheese tub, use it as a seedling planter. Got some extra water bottles, use them as DIY green houses. Nothing gets wasted, and everything is re-used to the best of our ability. That’s what living simply is to us.
